Election 2008
I feel very strongly about this next election. I am hoping that McCain becomes president because his policies seem less likely to hurt us further as families. I don't plan on getting in a long post about it because I am NOT a political person....I know basics and that is it.

Dog For Sale!!
I am so ready to sell our dog!! The only thing keeping from doing it is our kids! This dog has been chewing everything and I don't know what to do about it! I know that he is still a puppy. He is not even one year yet. So obviously it is the age but we have gone through three extension cords, part of our antique bar and countless other items because of his chewing! Lord help me, I want him to stop!
One of those Days
Have you ever just had one of those days where nothing seemed to go right? Well, that is my day today. I have been searching for another job for me to do from home and nothing is turning out right. I am either under qualified or it is a scam. I can not stand that there are so many people out there that would be more than willing to take advantage of someone. Even if I was so broke that I was going to lose EVERYTHING I would NEVER try to scam someone! It just isn't right!
Then there is the kids. Neither of them are listening today! I am not over the top with them. I have been very calm, very collected and still they act like I mean nothing to them . i had to ask for toys to be picked up I don't know how many times. i am currently working on trying to get my three year old to take a nap. My one year old looked right at me and threw all of her lunch on the floor. What is wrong today!!
Then on top of all of that, I have to help my husband find a new job! He decided that the one he was at was not good enough for him and he is quitting. Luckily he knows better than to quit before having a new job in line. I can only hope that it doesn't mean we are moving again. We just settled in from the last move just over two months ago. Why does he think that we can up and move whenever he feels like it!!
On a good note, we might be able to go into St Louis tomorrow evening for a date night. I think the in-law might be going too but it is away from the kids for a night. We interviewed a baby sitter yesterday and she seems like a great kid. She has a job, she plays and coaches soft ball and she is polite. Lets hope it works out!
Well I think that is it for now. I am sure there will be a new post soon!

UPS, they are idiots
So, I had to order earring for my daughter that had screw on backs because she has been pulling hers out. It should have arrived two days after I ordered it on the 16th (so arrived on the 18th). No such luck. They came today FINALLY. The first hiccup was when it was shipped to my old address. I had to wait until it was unsuccessfully delivered before changing where it went. Luckily who ever moved into the appt didn't say it was theirs.
Then it took forever to get the address changed. I called at least three times and a hold was placed on it for some unknown reason. I didn't ask for one and the UPS people said that they didn't place it.
So finally it come to my town. Well I was in time to see the UPS delivery man drive off out of my drive way while I stood in the middle shouting at hm like a mad woman. I call the dispatcher right away hoping that he would turn around but no, he was gone for the day. He also told the dispatcher that he rang my door bell. One minor problem. I have no door bell. This house was built in 1885 and no one put one in. So good try guy.
Then today when I go out to meet him to make his day easier (and to be sure I get my package) he asks for ID. The reason, I don't look like I am 21 and it required a signature from someone 21 or older. I am 23. I have two kids. I am married. The package was sent to ME!! I got my ID and got the package but goodness.....I don't EVER want to deal with UPS again!!

I have never thought it would be like this
I was never told that being a mom would be the way it is. No one told me that kids can be so funny and so frustrating at the same time. Take today for example, my son, who is three, decided in stead of going potty in the toilet he would go on his bedroom floor. Then tell me that his sister did it. She by the way is one and in diapers and was in her crib at the time of the "accident". Not so funny.
But later today he decided that he would come over to me and start looking at me with the really odd look on his face. I looked at him and asked him what he was doing. he response "I a doggy, Mommy, I going to eat you up!!!" He then proceeds to jump on me and "eat me up" Funniest thing ever. So how it that your kids can drive you insane one minute and make you laugh till you cry the next.
It must be a survival thing.

Searching for years
I have been searching for years for something, anything that I could do from home. There were so many problems to overcome that it looked so bleak. First, there are so many scams out there that it is seriously unbelievable. It is so sad that people are so willing to take advantage of others for their own gain. Second, I am very unqualified. I have been a waitress, a telemarketer, a camp counselor and I worked at the Dollar Tree. All of them less than 6 months at a time. But in my defense I was 18 when I last worked.
After getting married and becoming a mom I did not go back to work. My son is more important than extra money. I did not want someone I did not know raising my son, especially where we were living. My second child came two years later and she deserves the same attention that my son had. So now I have two children, no peace and no job. Thankfully my husband has been a wonderful provider but I feel guilty at times that I don't earn any income.
I have tried multiple things, mostly affiliate marketing. All were nice but I NEVER made a thing. At best I made $20. Then the one that I had high hopes for went and changed everything, they wanted a monthly fee and in order to just cover that fee, not even make money myself I would have needed to SELL $40 worth of product. Not a chance.
Luckily I have stumbled upon ChaCha. So far so good!! I am really crossing my fingers that I will do well and get something. And at this point in time something is better than nothing. I am sure I could have found something sooner if I had skills or I could use the telephone with no interruptions but as I listen to my daughter get angry about the shirt getting stuck on her head, no phone work is all I can do!
